My name is charlotte and my story is that i was verry poorly for between six and seven weeks i kept going to the doctors and i was told by several doctors that i had seen and spoken to on the phone that i had the flu i kept going back to the surgery and kept on telling the doctors that i wasnt right but they were addimant that it was the flu and that i was just to go home and rest but my worry was that in the several weeks that i was ill i couldnt eat and i was told by a certain doctor that it didnt matter if i couldnt eat as long as i could keep fluids down finaly on the 17th august 2007 my partner said that enough was enough and i was to let him phone an ambuilance on arrival at hospital i was taken in to a hospital room and the midwife had done a scan of my baby and there was the bad news i was told that mine and my partners baby was stillborn after several observations and blood tests i was told that i had suffered from accute fatty liver of pregnancy and that it was so severe that my kidneys and liver were shutting down and that i was lucky to be alive myself on that saturday i was so ill i was taken to intensive care over nightthen on sunday the 19th august i gave birth to a beautiful baby boy weighing 3lb 11 ounces.
